support custom highlight rules
Please add an ability to specify additional syntax / highlight rules, for languages without builtin support. In my favorite editors, I can create a file that tells it how to highlight a new language. It would be even better if it supports an existing format for the rules (I use SlickEdit and PSPad).

This is on the top of my wish list, for sure. ColdFusion highlighting, or at least allowing basic highlighting of HTML syntax on a cfm page, would be awesome.

This feature would help us setting up a ActionScript highlighting. I would like to see it asap

We need syntax highlighting for ColdFusion, and it's really a show-stopper for us. Doing a code review with no syntax highlighting is really not pleasant.

I'd like to see support for ADA and more shell script varieties (.ksh, .tcsh). Custom rules could be used for those too.

yes. imagine the breadth of coding languages you could support... I could use this for VHDL.

There is a related request for Delphi highlighting support: http://feedback.codecollab.com/forums/4652-code-collaborator-features/suggestions/127735-add-syntax-colouring-for-delphi-to-the-diff-viewer

This would definitely be great for use with Actionscript as well as in-house languages

This would be very useful to us as well, for DSL's for example.
