Participant OR group based in restrict access to review content
Customer would like to be able to say let people view this review who are either in the group associated with the review, OR a participant of the group.
Users should be able to invite participants to a review who are not in the group as part of this feature.
Just selecting "Participants" is not a valid workaround, because that keeps other members of the group from being able to view this review.
This capability is now available in CodeCollaborator 7.0. It’s a new selection in the Restrict Access to Review setting.

We need that feature to
- share review with the complete group of developers
- add single developers from another group if necessary without granting access to the entire other group. -

IMHO there is a typo in the initial statement above: "... , OR a participant of the _group_." must be "... , OR a participant of the _review_."
Once implemented this feature please also reconsider the site-wide administration setting 'Restrict Access to Review'. Use rather check boxes than a simple drop-down list to be able to select multiple items. -

it seems there are similarities with "add-native-support-for-a-review-pool". Wouldn't that be best to start with?

Fully agree with the author's recommendation. The option to select the entire group and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) is a must for our organization. Group management to work around this problem will eventually break down as the groups grow to an un-manageable state.

Recommended Action
We are missing is the ability to select multiple from the above (GROUP BASED + PARTICIPANTS) or a fifth option.
"PARTICIPANTS OR GROUP BASED"
Users must be either participants in the review or currently have access to the review's associated group to access reviews. The key word here is "OR" which distinguishes it from the option above.
